The Premise

Columbus has a real tech scene. It just doesn't act like it.

614 Tech Day is not another chamber of commerce mixer. It's a one day, intentionally small Sunday, opening remarks through fireside, for the people actually building things here. Whether that's a Series A SaaS company in the Brewery District, a two person AI startup in an Upper Arlington garage, or an agency quietly shipping work for Fortune 500 clients.

We're keeping it intentional. A Sunday where you can meet the people who matter to you before lunch is over, not a 500 person hall where you're a badge in a lanyard chasing coffee. We're trading scale for signal.

Why doesn’t this look like a typical Tech Week?

Because we put 614 Tech Week together 55 days before the event. The 2026 inaugural week is a deliberate first move. Small, focused, real. Built to invite the operators, sponsors, and prospective committee members who want to help shape what 2027 looks like. From 2027 onward, expect 614 Tech Week to evolve into the full citywide format you’d expect from a major American tech hub.

Why Sunday?

Because 6/14 falls on a Sunday this year. The public day runs noon to 5 PM as part of 614 Day.

Who is this for?

Founders, engineers, designers, PMs, operators, and anyone building in or adjacent to Columbus tech. Not for gatekeepers, uninvited recruiters, or side hustle pitchers.

Is food included?

Yes. Coffee throughout the day and a snack break at 1:45. Dietary restrictions handled at registration. (The 11 AM Host Circle brunch is sold out.)
